One of the companies that Hudson Staffing has partnered with is Unified Screening in New Richmond. Unified Screening produces Wire cloth or racks for gravel and rocks to be used in the mining industry. They have a few different positions =Shear/brake operator, Production operator, Material handling.All Positions require safety training on the first day. Safety Videos, Osha Training, Forklift Training and possibly Torch Training. Starting out in this position you will be trained on weaving the wires into a machine, and cutting the wires using a crimper, which also puts shape into the wire. Materials handling will get material from racks, take inventory, fill orders, cut, and move sheets of wire. Shear position is cutting off the access wire to make the Wire rack straight and the Break position is adding metal to both sides of the wire rack, to create hooks to slide into a machine.
